The NORWESCAP Food Bank, a subsidiary of America Second Harvest, was established in 1985, distributing 49,000 pounds of food to 10 agencies. Today, the food bank has grown to serve over 130 non-profit charities feeding the needy, distributing over 1.4 million pounds of food a year.
The food bank is constantly looking for volunteers to help with special events, warehouse work and conducting food drives for the food bank. Monetary contributions are always welcome.
