The New York Football Giants Huddle Up With Kraft Foods And ShopRite To Develop A Game Plan For Fighting Hunger
ELIZABETH, NJ – (October 19, 2009) – Vince Lombardi once said, “People who work together will win, whether it be against complex football defenses, or the problems of modern society." The New York Football Giants aren’t just tackling opponents this fall; they are also taking on one of America’s most pervasive problem – hunger. Tickets are now available for the Third Annual Taste of the Giants – a star-studded culinary event, where fans can sample signature dishes from some of the area’s finest five-star restaurants while mingling with their favorite Giants players including the event host, Giants middle linebacker Antonio Pierce and Giants legends Jessie Armstead and Charles Way.
The Third Annual Taste of the Giants will take place on Monday, October 19th from 7 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. in the Stadium Club at Giants Stadium. The event, presented in conjunction with Kraft Foods, will benefit ShopRite Partners In Caring and Giants Foundation, programs that help feed the hungry in the Metropolitan area.
Big Blue fans will enjoy this exclusive opportunity to mingle with more than a dozen members of the Giants as well as former Giants stars from the past Super Bowl Championship teams. The players will interact with guests while savoring dishes from Tao, Blue Smoke, STK Steakhouse, Sushi Samba and Carlo’s Bakery, home of the “Cake Boss”, among other New York and New Jersey’s top restaurants.
